THC Endorses "Hood to Coast" Movie

Last week a new film called 'Hood to Coast' was released for one night only. Four THC Members (Anna, Kristi, Amber and Brad) participated in the event live from Salt Lake City while Derek watched in North Carolina.

The film follows four different teams journey from deciding to run the epic two-day race, training, the race itself, and after.

The movie is a great film to watch if you are thinking of running a race like Hood to Coast, RAGNAR, etc.

DAYBREAK OLYMPIC TRIATHLON

I wanted to get this post out early because this race looks to be a challenging, but amazing race.

Race Distances:

Run - 10k

Swim - 1500 meters open water

Bike - 24 miles, including 4 hills

Cost - $65.00

This would be a great way to close out the season. The bike portion of this race is supposed to have two great hills that you have to do twice. Also, the run is supposedly flat and fast.

Tim and Pink Thunder

I simply have to document how proud I am of my bike, Pink Thunder, who carried me 12 miles, and up and down the treacherous Snow Canyon of St. George. I wrote a haiku in memorium:

i rode you upon

rubber wings flew like the eagle

cradled my bottom

This is a fantastic way for all of us to get pumped up for the next events that HardCore will be making a presence at. I believe there are Pots-o-gold in the near future. Perhaps Derek can enlighten us?
